Job summary

Pratt Industries – Houston is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00AM–2:00PM). Starting pay is $20.05 per hour. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot production machinery, while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Your duties include maintaining equipment and cleanliness, meeting production schedules, and training teammates as needed. Pratt offers extensive benefits and incentive programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Lift Truck Operator License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment by following Pratt Industries safety rules.
• Maximize machine utilization and improve setup times.
• Assist in training new team members and cross-train on machines.
• Complete daily production reports and submit maintenance requests.
• Adapt to overtime/holiday work and meet production schedules.
