Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks a Utility Person in New York to support production on 1st shift. You will safely operate manufacturing equipment per procedures to produce high-quality bushings. Paid training and cross-training across multiple machines are provided.

Under supervision, you will assemble components, coat studs, wind cores, and prepare packaging, while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workplace and meeting quality standards.

Qualifications

• Read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, JSAs, and drawings accurately.
• Basic measurement skills using a ruler or tape measure.
• Interpret machine gauges to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Self-motivated with proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fork truck certification is a plus or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Assist assembling POC and PRC bushings.
• Coat PRC studs.
• Wind cores and cut foils.
• Clean, inspect, and package finished bushings.
• Assist with assembling and preparing additional components.
