Job Overview

The Machine Operator (Utility Person) is responsible for operating production equipment in accordance with established procedures, safety standards, and quality guidelines. This role supports efficient manufacturing operations by ensuring machines are run properly and production processes remain consistent throughout the shift.

Additional responsibilities include cross‑training to operate multiple machines and assisting in various areas throughout the facility, providing flexibility and support where needed. The position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced production environment during second‑shift hours.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (1st Shift)

A Day In The Life

• Assembly of POC and PRC bushings
• PRC stud coating and related finishing processes
• Winding cores and cutting foils
• Cleaning, inspecting, and packaging finished products
• Assisting with additional assembly and production tasks as needed

Physical Requirements

• Comfort working on your feet or seated for extended periods, including repetitive tasks throughout an 8‑hour shift
• Ability to move safely throughout the facility, including walking, climbing stairs, and working from platforms when needed
• Good vision, hearing, and full use of both hands to perform job tasks effectively
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle materials as part of daily responsibilities
• Capability to carry up to 30 lbs. short distances as needed for production tasks
