Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Assembly worker for first shift in the United States. You will assemble or fabricate mechanical parts using various tools, read blueprints, and perform quality checks to mass-produce enclosures.

The role includes cross-training as a Machine Operator for flexibility on the production line. The day-to-day duties include interpreting diagrams, using handheld and powered tools, and ensuring inventory at your workstation is maintained.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Regularly lift up to 35 pounds.
• Experience in manufacturing assembly is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams and drawings to assemble products.
• Use handheld tools such as screwdrivers and drill guns to assemble components.
• Maintain inventory levels at the workstation to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Identify defects and report to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Rework or repair assembled products per specifications or customer requests.
• Adhere to all quality standards and safety procedures during assembly.
• Complete daily tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
