Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
• Experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to apply them to analyze component specifications and data.
• Excellent written communication skills for clear reporting.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to evolving production needs.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Tests and inspects high-voltage bushings and associated products to prescribed standards and notes performance data.
• Manage test and inspection tasks independently to align with production timelines.
• Perform detailed audits on components and materials like transformer oil and epoxy resin.
• Operates test equipment and connects circuits for high voltage testing.
• Document test data, create certification reports, and maintain QA databases.
• Troubleshoot test circuits when results are questionable.
• Communicate quality issues for corrective actions.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers during tests with thorough documentation.
• Identify and communicate quality issues to drive continuous improvement.
• Occasionally work overtime based on business need.
• All other duties assigned.
