Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is recruiting for a West Bend, WI manufacturer to add a hands-on Hand Welder & Finisher on 1st shift. The role offers a starting rate up to $24.00/hr ($49,920/yr) with overtime plus full health/dental/vision coverage and a 401(k) plan in a debt-free, ISO 9001:2015 certified environment.

You will weld, finish, grind, and inspect custom metal stampings, tooling fixtures, and prototypes.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand welding, metal finishing, grinding, and shop fabrication is preferred.
• Reliability with excellent attendance and safety record.
• Willingness to learn new fabrication techniques and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual hand welding (MIG/TIG/Arc) to join custom stampings and fixtures.
• Finish welds with grinders and deburrs, smoothing surfaces for final finishing.
• Inspect weld quality visually to meet ISO quality standards and customer specs.
• Set up and maintain welding fixtures, align workpieces, and keep workspace 5S compliant.
• Support production goals by collaborating with supervisors and teammates and leveraging overtime when needed.
