Qualifications

• Demonstrated stability with 2+ years at each prior employer.
• Experience operating industrial furnaces or in heavy manufacturing melt operations.
• Ability to weigh and count materials and operate handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, charge, and maintain industrial melting furnaces with ingots, sows, and scrap.
• Tap furnaces and skim impurities while maintaining temperature and cleanliness.
• Pull metal samples for lab analysis and alloy verification.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Operate forklift and overhead hoists to move ingots, loads, and products.
• Record material quantities on daily production logs and report attendance.
• Follow OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and 5S standards.
