Per Mar Security Services is seeking motivated individuals to join our nationally recognized Monitoring Center as Dispatchers in Bloomington, MN. You will be the vital link between properties and emergency services, handling alarms, signals and customer communications with schedules that include day shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years dispatching, call center, or multi-line phone experience preferred.
• Strong customer service focus/skills essential.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel); internet skills required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Answer and follow up on incoming signals, alarms and requests.
• Initiate outbound calls to customers, police agencies and emergency contacts.
• Accurately document accounts to note events or actions.
• Work additional hours as needed – cover open shifts and during storms.
• Inform customers of Per Mar Security Services products and refer business as appropriate.
• May be assigned additional duties or special projects by management.

Dispatchers

Serve as the life-saving link between residential or business properties and the police, fire and emergency services in local areas.

• Schedule is set days and shifts.
• Days off will be consecutive but these are weekend schedules.
• Starting pay is $19 per hour!

What You’ll Be Doing

What You’ll Need To Do This

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• One to three years dispatching, call center, and/or multi-line phone experience highly preferred.
• Strong customer service focus/skills a must.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel. Internet skills required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Possess the ability to multi-task and pay strong attention to detail.
