Job summary

IDEA Public Schools in Texas is hiring Early Education teachers to deliver rigorous instruction, drive student achievement, and engage families in the learning process. You will plan lessons, assess mastery, track progress, and adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs while modeling IDEA’s core values.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and teaching certification; K‑3 classroom experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and teaching certification required.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom setting preferred.
• Reading Academies certification or TX training willingness; bilingual/ESL certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Assess student progress and update gradebook weekly.
• Communicate student progress with families on a weekly basis.
• Utilize technology to enhance learning and manage tasks.
• Maintain a consistent behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
