Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and teaching certification in a K-12 setting.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom setting strongly preferred.
• Reading Academies certification per TEA requirements or willingness to obtain within timelines.
• Bilingual certification is strongly preferred, content and ESL certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and plan purposeful lessons.
• Assess student mastery and track progress toward goals.
• Communicate student progress with families weekly.
• Implement behavior management aligned to campus initiatives; foster positive classroom culture.
• Collaborate with IDEA team and participate in school activities and meetings.
• Spend 40+ hours per week at school and support tutoring sessions when needed.
