Job summary

IDEA Public Schools in Texas is seeking a dedicated teacher for IDEA College Prep to help students master academic and social skills needed for college. You will work to deliver rigorous high school content, align with IDEA curricula, and provide feedback to students and families.

You will plan weekly, track progress, and participate in after-school duties as needed, committing to 40+ hours weekly and contributing to a team culture that values action, accountability, and student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution is required.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom is strongly preferred.
• State certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track student progress and update gradebook weekly.
• Communicate students’ progress with families on a weekly basis.
