IDEA Public Schools in Texas seeks an energetic teacher dedicated to equity, mastery of core subjects, and high expectations. You will plan rigorous lessons, implement IDEA curricula, and use data to guide instruction and family communications.

You’ll join a Team and Family, participate in after-school duties as needed, provide tutoring when required, and contribute to a learning environment that helps every student prepare for college.

Qualifikationen

• High level of content-area proficiency evidenced by teaching certification, field of study, or work-experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution (required).
• Experience: Experience in a K-12 classroom setting (strongly preferred).
• Licenses or Certifications: State certification preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious academic expectations.
• Learn, master, and deliver relevant content and grade level curriculum, core content objectives and texts.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Implement formal and informal assessments to track each student’s progress and adjust plans accordingly.
• Communicate students’ progress with students and families weekly.
