Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for subject/level assigned.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary.
• ESL Supplemental Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans for core subjects.
• Present content according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Use data to plan instruction and accommodate diverse learners (gifted, bilingual/ESL, 504).
• Collaborate with staff to align goals and methods.
• Plan and supervise aides/volunteers.
• Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning.
