IRVING INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking an experienced Teacher to provide engaging instruction in core academic subjects. The role emphasizes meeting diverse student needs through data-driven planning and technology integration.

Applicants should hold a Texas teaching certificate and a Bachelor’s degree, with the Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary. This in-person position offers 187 duty days and Exempt wage status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for subject/level assigned.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary.
• ESL Supplemental Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned and show written evidence of preparation as required.
• Present the subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policies, and administrative regulations.
• Use data to plan and implement instructional strategies that reflect accommodations for individual needs of students (gifted/talented, bilingual/ESL, 504, etc.).
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP guidelines.
• Plan and supervise assignments for teacher aides/volunteers in the classroom.
• Use appropriate technologies to strengthen the teaching and learning process.
