Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, resourceful, and results-oriented Contract Recruiter to support our current hiring needs. This individual will partner with hiring managers and Human Resources to identify qualified candidates, coordinate the recruitment process, and help fill positions efficiently.
The ideal candidate is proactive, responsive, organized, and willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, from initial intake through offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, priorities, and preferred candidate profiles.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Review applications, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, communication skills, and overall fit.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear and accurate summaries.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Provide candidates with updates throughout the recruitment process and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, interview notes, and recruiting activity in the applicant tracking system or other internal tools.
- Track open positions, candidate pipelines, interviews, offers, and hiring progress.
- Follow up consistently with hiring managers to obtain feedback and keep the recruitment process moving.
- Assist with job‑posting development, offer coordination, reference checks, and pre‑employment activities as needed.
- Provide recruiting updates and identify sourcing challenges, market conditions, or other potential hiring barriers.
- Support additional Human Resources or talent acquisition projects as business needs arise.
Qualifications
- Previous recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, Human Resources, or related experience is preferred.
- Experience managing multiple open positions and candidate pipelines is a plus.
- Ability to source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting methods.
- Strong interviewing, candidate‑assessment, and relationship‑building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and follow through on commitments.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and hands‑on environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, recruiting platforms, and applicant tracking systems is preferred.
- Ability to work from the DeLand office on a regular basis.

Work Schedule
This position is expected to work primarily from the DeLand office. For a highly qualified candidate with demonstrated experience working successfully in a remote environment, the company may consider allowing one to two remote days per week after the initial onboarding and training period.
Any hybrid arrangement will require consistent availability, responsiveness, productivity, and communication during scheduled working hours.
