Job summary

BAMSI in Taunton, MA is seeking a Residential Counselor - MAP to support adults in group living environments. You will help teach ADLs, manage medications under MAP guidelines, and implement treatment plans under clinical supervision.

The role offers 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with a competitive hourly wage between $20.00 and $23.75 and non-exempt status. Employment requires strong communication, compassion, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification required or must obtain within 3 months.
• Teach activities of daily living and socialization skills.
• Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Administer/supervise medications following MAP guidelines and document care.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do: Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE), fostering skills for daily living and community integration. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and completetimelydocumentation.

What You Bring:

• High school diploma/GED; direct care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability toassistwith mobility (bending, standing, etc.).
• Strong communicationskills (English) and basic computerproficiency.
• Compassion, patience, and commitment to trauma-informed care.
• Bonus : Lived experience or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese).
