Job summary

Novolex is seeking a results-driven Team Lead for the Covington, GA facility. You will supervise a 12-hour production shift, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity for a team of 25+ hourly employees. The role requires hands-on leadership and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Fluent in English (read, write, communicate).
Hands-on leadership style with on-floor presence.
Ability to communicate with large groups and site leaders.
Reliable and dependable with strong problem-solving and planning skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day 12-hour shift operations for safety, quality, and productivity.
Troubleshoot complex processes and equipment with hands-on approach.
Ensure safety for all department employees and promote safety initiatives.
Supervise operators and monitor production run conditions.
Coordinate training needs and develop team members.
Drive daily execution of Production System, hour-by-hour reporting, and Kaizen activities.
Lead technicians, operators, and material handlers; performance evaluations.
Maintain housekeeping and ensure quality products are produced.
