Job summary

Novolex Jackson, TN is seeking a Shift Supervisor to coordinate and supervise production activities on the assigned shift. You will lead a team, train new staff, monitor equipment, and ensure safety, quality and efficiency on the line.

The role requires strong supervisory and communication skills, experience in manufacturing environments, and familiarity with GMP and food safety practices. A high school diploma is required, with competitive benefits and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience supervising on a production line or in manufacturing.
• Experience in lean manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Ability to make accurate and timely decisions on safety, quality and waste.
• Solid communication and supervisory skills across shifts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise production activities on the assigned shift.
• Lead and develop the training of new employees with timely feedback.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper speeds and quality.
• Manage staffing and machine assignments to meet schedule requirements.
• Maintain safety, GMPs and food safety practices on the line.
• Record production data and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate with shift supervision and plant management on objectives.
