Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Lead to assist the Production Supervisor in all manufacturing processes and procedures, enforcing safety and quality policies, and training new employees. The role will perform the same labor functions as the workers being supervised to cover breaks and busy periods.

Compensation begins at $22.50 per hour with a $2 per hour night shift differential, and offers a 2-2-3 schedule with days or nights.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to effectively communicate.
• Ability to keep up in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Wraps and weight all production skids.
• Assist with breaks, changeovers and screen changes.
• Work with production staff to ensure lines run without any issues.
• Work with production staff to ensure the quality of the product.
• Communicates with Maintenance Supervisor about equipment problems.
• Will perform other labor functions as needed.
• Operate forklift safely.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
