Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in West Hazleton, PA is seeking a Day Shift Machine Operator II to operate 12-hour shifts from 6:30am to 7:00pm. The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing extrusion experience and involves running plastic blow molding machines and in-line equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment producing a container safely and with high quality.
• Perform basic adjustments or minor repairs to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Follow safety, health, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
• Conduct mold, insert and color changes on the line as needed.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and routine maintenance tasks.
• Monitor resin, dryer, material handling and color systems for proper processing conditions.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas according to safety standards.
• Complete and file required documentation in a timely manner.
• Communicate production needs with the Shift Supervisor and colleagues.
• Assist in training new Operators and providing on-the-job support.
• Limited travel may be required.
