Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine PC in California is seeking a 1099 orthopedic surgeon to evaluate, diagnose, and treat work-related injuries. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, chiropractors, and physicians, to manage caseloads and return workers to work efficiently.

Requirements include MD or DO with an unrestricted California license, board certification or eligibility, active DEA, BLS, malpractice coverage, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with unrestricted CA license.
• Board certified or eligible.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current medical malpractice insurance coverage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in occupational medicine, orthopedics, or outpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examining patients to diagnose musculoskeletal problems from work-related injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans may include PT, exercises, medications, and surgery when necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Treat fractures and musculoskeletal conditions through injections and other interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients about conditions and rehabilitation process.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in EMR.
