Job summary

Hidden River Middle School in Snohomish, WA is hiring a Paraeducator for Specialized Instruction to provide 1:1 support and assist in promoting student learning. The role is tied to 180 days of instruction with a 6.5-hour day and a start date of immediate hire.

Responsibilities include assisting with instructional activities, maintaining a collaborative approach with staff, and meeting ESSA-related requirements for paraeducator positions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• An associate degree or 72 quarter credits / 48 semester credits at 100+ level, or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Complete PESB-approved assessments or related Washington state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of instructional activities and support student learning.
• Provide 1:1 instructional support in specialized instruction settings.
• Collaborate with Building Principal and instructional staff in a team setting.
