Job summary

Monroe School District is seeking a Paraeducator – Specialized Instructional - 1:1 Student Support at the Frank Wagner campus in Monroe, WA. The role supports students with diverse needs in a community-based program.

The position requires meeting ESSA-related criteria, First Aid/CPR/AED certification, and CPI/ PBS training. Hours are 5 per day, 3 days per week, with starting date 9/9/26 and CBP assignment details provided upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience or coursework in child growth and development, instructional technology, or related field.
• Two-year college credits (72 credits) or completion of an approved apprenticeship may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructional personnel with presentation of learning materials.
• Work with students with a range of disabilities and needs.
• Tutor individuals or small groups to reinforce learning; monitor progress.
