Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher required or equivalent
• Passing of Parapro Assessment as required by No Child Left Behind Act
• Prior experience with children desirable
• Must obtain Educational Aide Permit issued by the State of Ohio

Responsibilities

• Assist certified staff to meet instructional goals and objectives.
• Reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, computer instruction and other skills.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning and implement programs.
• Assist with record-keeping of student learning and performance.
• Support classroom management to maintain a safe, focused learning environment.
• Supervise students during non-instructional times and field trips as needed.
• Distribute and use educational materials as required.
