Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher or equivalent educational background.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passing the Parapro Assessment as required by NCLB.
• Prior experience working with children desirable.
• Must obtain and maintain an Ohio Educational Aide Permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified staff to meet instructional goals in the classroom.
• Support students individually and in small groups.
• Reinforce reading, language arts, math, and computer skills.
• Assist with record-keeping and progress documentation.
• Support classroom behavior management and safety.
• Provide supervision in non-instructional areas and on field trips.
