Woodland Elementary in Brooklyn Park, MN seeks an Educational Support Professional for 1:1 Special Education. You will assist in implementing IEPs, support with individual/ small-group instruction, collect data, and prepare materials under the supervision of the special education teacher.

The ideal candidate will have HQ by start date per Minnesota guidelines or an associate’s degree or higher, or have passed ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathwaysAssessment, with the district paying the assessment

Qualifications

• HQ required by start date per Minnesota Department of Education
• Two years of college study (60 credits) or an associate’s degree
• Passing score on ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathwaysAssessment; district pays for assessment

Responsabilités

• Assist in implementing IEPs including physical and behavioral management
• Support individual or small groups as assigned
• Collect observational data and report to supervisor
• Prepare, collect and maintain educational materials
• Attend staffings and meetings as requested
• Complete student data forms as directed by teacher
• Participate in district training
• Other duties as assigned by SPED team
