Job summary
Gobravvo is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct 1:1 nursing care to a medically fragile student throughout the school day, including transportation time. Based in the Pittston, PA area, this full-time role follows the local school calendar and supports the student, staff, and school community.
The LPN will administer routine and emergency care, maintain health records, and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals, while upholding DoH policies and ensuring
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Compassionate approach to working with children with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care to a medically fragile student during school hours and transportation.
- Administer first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
- Train school personnel in First Aid, CPR, and AED use.
- Dispense and document medication administration in accordance with school policies.
- Maintain accurate health records, electronic and paper-based.
- Collaborate with students, families, and external healthcare professionals to support well-being.
