Job summary

gobravvo is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a School Nurse for a middle school student. The role is full-time, daytime hours with 1:1 nursing support, enabling participation in classroom activities while ensuring health and safety.

The ideal candidate has pediatric nursing experience, G-tube care expertise, and the ability to work independently within a school setting. CPR/BLS certification is preferred, and a PA LPN license is required.

Qualifications

• Pediatric nursing experience preferred in school-based or home-health settings.
• G-tube care experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with families and school staff.
• Ability to work independently within a school setting and follow physician directives.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 licensed nursing care to the assigned student during school hours.
• Monitor and respond to the student’s health needs and medical requirements.
• Deliver specialized care including G-tube management per care plan.
• Document nursing care accurately and timely.
• Communicate with school staff, family, and external healthcare providers as needed.
• Support student participation in classroom activities safely and inclusively.
