gobravvo is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)– School Nurse in Dallas, PA for a full-time role. The nurse will provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care to a medically fragile student, accompany the student on the bus, and support medical needs throughout the school day.

The position emphasizes student safety, DoH policy compliance, and collaboration with families and school staff. Typical hours align with the school calendar, Monday through Friday, with transportation time paid as part of work

Qualifikationen

• Hold a valid or be eligible to obtain a Pennsylvania LPN license.
• Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification; instructor preferred.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems; confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Aufgaben

• Deliver 1:1 nursing care to a medically fragile student throughout the school day.
• Administer medications according to physician orders and document care.
• Provide first aid and emergency response as needed.
• Train school staff in first aid, CPR, and AED protocols.
• Maintain comprehensive health records (electronic and paper).
• Refer students for additional medical care in collaboration with parents and providers.
