Job summary

Huntley Community School District 158's Huntley High School is seeking Paraprofessionals 1:1 Aides to support students with special needs throughout the day, assist with academics and daily routines, and help maintain safety during school hours.

You will work 10 months full-time under the HESPA classification, with potential stipends based on assignment and a benefits package including IMRF and insurance. Immediate start is preferred to ensure alignment with IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold an ELS (Paraprofessional) license or PEL.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Basic math and computer skills; some general office skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist each student with special needs during academics and daily routines.
• Maintain student safety and follow a strict schedule while school is in session.
• Support students and teachers to meet IEP goals; perform other duties as assigned.
