Job summary

Olympic View Middle School in Mukilteo, Washington seeks a 1:1 Paraeducator to support a student with individualized instruction. This 6.5-hour per day, 180-day position runs 7:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with students with diverse learning needs.
• Experience with students with disabilities, especially autism, preferred.
• Ability to monitor and support student progress and behavior.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with daily supervision of students to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Administer tests, collect data, update records, and assess progress.
• Monitor student behavior and support instructional growth and goals.
• Provide clerical and general classroom assistance as needed.
• Administer first aid and assist with personal care as required.
• Perform crossing guard duties before and after school.
