Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Official transcripts or ETS ParaPro results as applicable.
• Experience with children in educational settings preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift and physically assist as needed.
• Willingness to attend weekend trainings.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in implementing goals and individual education plans (IEPs).
• Provide instructional support and supervise students in small groups or one-on-one.
• De-escalate behavioral crises and maintain student safety.
• Monitor student behavior and communicate progress to staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Prepare teaching materials and assist with data entry and record keeping.
