Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to deliver 1:1 ESL instruction to students based in Singapore and Hong Kong, using the Cosmo curriculum.

You will teach ESL to K-12 students, with a set weekly schedule and classes of 50 minutes. This is an independent contractor role with a pay rate of $20 USD per class plus incentives. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA/ESL/EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.
• Requires fast, reliable internet and a PC (Windows or Mac).
• Must be able to commit to at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in Cosmo App promptly.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time in a professional setting.
