Job summary

Cosmo is looking for independent contract tutors to provide personalized 1 on 1 lessons for K-12 students. Tutors will enjoy a flexible schedule while teaching math and providing engaging learning experiences. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of K-12 teaching experience, and are available for a minimum of 20 hours a week. A reliable internet connection and patience to adapt to student needs are also essential. Competitive pay of $20 per class plus incentives offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math.
• Experience with K-12 Math standards.
• Teaching license preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching.
• Available 20 hours weekly between 3-10 PM EST or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for students.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time.
