Job summary

Cosmo is seeking K-12 tutors to provide personalized online instruction. As a tutor with Cosmo, you will set your flexible schedule, aiming to deliver engaging 50-minute 1:1 lessons based on established learning plans. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience in K-12 math. Compensation is $20 per class, with additional incentives available. You must commit to teaching for at least 6 months and have a reliable internet connection.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math.
• Teaching license preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Access to a Windows or Mac PC with minimum CPU of 6000.
• Available between 3-10 PM EST Monday through Friday or weekends.
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for students.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials based on age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents and students.
