Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced K-12 educators to join as independent contractors for online tutoring. Tutors will provide personalized 1-on-1 lessons focusing on math and ELA. This role offers a flexible schedule with a pay rate of $20 per class plus incentives. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree, three years of teaching experience, and a passion for helping students. A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace are necessary. Availability between 3-10 PM EST is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math.
• Experience with K-12 math standards.
• Teaching license preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000.
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time.
