Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. in Delaware seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs under IEP guidance.

You will work one-on-one with assigned students, implement behavior plans, and contribute to data collection and progress tracking as part of a multidisciplinary team. In this role you will foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment, collaborate with teachers and specialists, communicate with parents, and provide personal care

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions preferred.
• Ability to work one-on-one with students and follow IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with assigned student to meet IEP goals.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Record and track data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Utilize behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
