Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs within in-district classrooms or standalone schools.

You will work under a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized behavior plans, provide personal care as needed, and track student progress according to IEP goals. The role involves working with diverse student populations, applying PBIS-based strategies, and communicating with parents to ensure

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions in an educational setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals and provide accommodations.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement and monitor behavior support plans and track progress/data.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis management when needed to ensure safety.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment to support social and behavioral skills.
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
