Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services in California is hiring part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with children who have autism or developmental delays. Sessions occur in home, clinic, or school, lasting 2–3 hours, with caseload tailored to your availability and comfort with age groups from toddlers to teens.

You will deliver engaging, play-based behavior support, implement plans designed by BCBA, collect progress data, and communicate with families.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and enthusiastic with children.
• Ability to work 1:1 with autism or developmental delays.
• Available to work afternoons/evenings (12–8pm).
• Reliable transportation to client homes or clinics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 behavior support through play-based activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Communicate with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in training, meetings, and supervision.
