Job summary

Ocean Psychological Services seeks a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy support under supervision of a BCBA. You will implement treatment plans, collect data, and contribute to client growth in a collaborative team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ABA knowledge, and strong data skills. Availability includes 15 hours weekly from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with some weekend flexibility. This is a part-time, in-person position in San Mateo, CA.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with children.
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
• Prior experience or understanding of ABA principles preferred.
• Strong data collection, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Must provide minimum 15 hours of weekly availability between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM (weekend shifts possible).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct ABA therapy based on individualized client goals and plans.
• Collect, document, and analyze data during sessions to monitor progress.
• Attend client team meetings and mandatory quarterly staff meetings.
• Create and utilize instructional materials to support therapy goals.
• Facilitate individual and small group social skills training sessions.
• Maintain timely communication including checking/responding to company emails on business days.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
