Job summary

Proficio Therapy Services is seeking an energetic Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 ABA services in clinic, home, school, and community settings. You will work under a BCBA, implement tailored treatment plans, collect data, and support skill development while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience providing ABA therapy is preferred.
• Strong flexibility, adaptability, and time management skills.
• Ability to follow clinical direction and work collaboratively with a team.
• Travel to multiple sites with reliable transportation is required.
• Must pass health screenings and, if requested, vaccinations.
• Background checks including criminal record and Child Abuse Registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Provides 1:1 ABA services to clients in clinic, home, school, or community settings under supervision.
• Implements individualized treatment and skill-building programs developed by a BCBA.
• Applies behavior reduction strategies and enhances adaptive skills.
• Accurately data-tracks and documents services via session notes.
• Collaborates with families, BCBAs, and team members.
• Participates in ongoing training related to behavior analysis and crisis intervention.
• Performs administrative tasks if a client cancels (e.g., material prep, clinic organization).
