Job summary

Jotform in Izmir, Türkiye, is seeking a User Researcher to join our İzmir office in Teknopark İzmir. You will study how people interact with our platform and uncover opportunities to improve their experience.

As part of a fast-growing team, you will conduct remote usability studies, surveys and interviews, synthesize findings into actionable insights, create personas, and help establish UX research standards across product teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in HCI, Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, CS, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of strengths/shortcomings of research methods and when to apply them.
• Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data.
• Deep knowledge of UX principles and best practices.
• Experience designing wireframes or prototypes for research validation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to receive feedback and collaborate cross-functionally.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a rapidly growing company, Jotform is seeking a User Researcher in our İzmir office, located at a relaxed fun environment in Teknopark İzmir.

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Continuously study how people interact with Jotform and observe their experience
• Identify their pain points and discover opportunities that we can address
• Analyse and report if the changes we make get the results we want
• Conduct user experience researches via variety of methods such as: remote usability testing, data analysis, surveys, observation, diary or benchmark studies, heuristic evaluations and A/B tests
• Generate insightful personas that are based on people's behaviors, goals, motivations, usage patterns, industry types, roles and demographics
• Contribute to UX Research Team processes and standards, and help establishing best practices for research.

Education & Work Experience & Technical Requirements:

• B.A./B.S.degree or above in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them
• Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data
• Deep knowledge of UX principles and best practices
• Familiarity with designing wireframes or prototypes for research validation
• Strong understanding of context and product common sense
• Excellent presentation, communication and analysis skills
• Openness to feedback
• Consistent, timely and proactive communication with cross-functional teams, product/project groups
• A passion to learn and keep up with the latest developments.
