Job summary

ISG is seeking a Payroll & Budget Chief to lead monthly payroll operations, ensure compliance with SGK, tax, and payroll filings, and oversee personnel budgeting and cost analysis.

The role requires extensive experience in payroll, Turkish labor laws, and advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in SAP and SuccessFactors. You will coordinate onboarding/offboarding, reporting, and process improvements in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant department.
• At least 7 years of experience in payroll, personnel affairs, and personnel cost management.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Preferably experienced in team management.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish Labor Law No. 4857, Social Security Law No. 5510, and relevant payroll legislation.
• Proven experience in gross-up calculations for net salaries.
• Experience in preparing Withholding Tax and Premium Service Declarations.
• Strong experience in payroll calculations and statutory reporting processes.
• Extensive experience in net salary and personnel budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Very good knowledge and hands-on experience with SuccessFactors and SAP.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, results-driven, with strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively under a high-pressure environment and manage peak-period workloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll calculation and control processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of SGK, tax, unemployment insurance, and other statutory declarations and filings.
• Manage and monitor employee onboarding, offboarding, leave, sick leave, overtime, bonus, and benefits processes.
• Analyze personnel costs and prepare regular cost reports.
• Prepare, monitor, and revise the annual personnel budget.
• Analyze variances by comparing actual personnel expenses against the budget.
• Prepare month-end payroll reports for the Finance Department.
• Prepare payroll and personnel budget reports.
• Prepare and submit the Withholding Tax and Premium Service Declaration.
• Monitor relevant legislation and regulatory changes and ensure payroll and personnel processes remain up to date.
• Lead initiatives aimed at process improvement and increasing operational efficiency.
