Job summary

HUGENT Hizmet ve Danışmanlık A.Ş. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead the HR function for an international industrial manufacturing group.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in large-scale HR operations and a proven ability to align people strategies with business goals. The successful candidate will drive organizational development, talent management, and succession planning, while ensuring compliance with Turkish labor law and fostering a high-performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, or related field; postgraduate degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 12-15 years of progressive HR experience with leadership in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record leading HR in complex, multinational or export-oriented organizations.
• Strong experience in organizational development, talent management, succession planning, and performance management.
• Solid knowledge of Turkish labor law, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR best practices.
• Ability to work with senior management and influence business decisions.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent command of English.
• Willingness to be based in Balıkesir.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall HR strategy in alignment with the company's objectives and long-term growth plans.
• Lead all HR functions, including talent acquisition, talent management, organizational development, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee engagement, and learning & development.
• Partner with the executive management team to drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership development.
• Strengthen the talent pipeline, succession planning, and internal development for critical technical and managerial positions.
• Lead organizational transformation and change management in a complex, engineering-driven manufacturing environment.
• Enhance performance management systems, leadership capabilities, and a results-oriented culture.
• Oversee employee relations, labor law compliance, HR policies, and procedures per corporate standards and local regulations.
• Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, productivity, and employer attractiveness.
• Lead and develop the HR team to ensure effective HR service delivery across the organization.
• Act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, providing strategic HR insights and data-driven recommendations.
