Job summary

Ferrero invites ambitious students to join the START Internship Program in Manisa. This paid, part-time opportunity (minimum 3 days/week) spans 6 to 11 months and offers immersive exposure to production operations.

Ideal candidates are in 3rd–4th year of Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, with strong English and Turkish communication skills, and a passion for learning in the food industry. You’ll engage in cross-functional projects, process improvements, and hands-on activities.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic 3rd- and 4th-year bachelor’s or master’s students (preferably Industrial or Mechanical Engineering).
• Part-time internship with a minimum of 3 days per week for 6 to 11 months.
• Interest in the food industry and eagerness to blend academic knowledge with practical experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, positive attitude and collaborative spirit.
• Methodical, committed, and process-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in English and Turkish (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production operations to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
• Assist in monitoring and optimizing manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen).
• Collect, analyze, and report production data to identify trends and improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, CI, and Technology teams.
• Support documentation activities, including SOPs and OPLs.
• Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and implementing corrective measures.
• Contribute to health, safety, and environmental compliance and best practices.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and process documentation as required.
• Participate in projects focusing on productivity, waste reduction, and cost optimization.

About the Role

What will your key responsibilities be?

• Support day-to-day production operations to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety standards
• Assist in monitoring and optimizing manufacturing processes and workflows

• Collect, analyze, and report production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, and Technology
• Support documentation activities, including SOPs and OPLs
• Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and implementing corrective measures
• Contribute to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance and best practices
• Prepare reports, presentations, and process documentation as required
• Participating in projects focused on enhancing productivity, reducing waste, and optimizing costs

Who we are looking for:

• Enthusiastic 3rd and 4th-year bachelor’s or master’s students (Preferably from Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
• Ready to join us for a part-time internship (minimum 3 days per week) for a period of 6 to 11 months
• Candidates with a keen interest in the food industry, ready to blend their academic knowledge with practical experience
• Excellent communicators with problem-solving skills, a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit
• Methodical thinkers who are committed, logical, and process-oriented
• Proficiency in both English and Turkish (verbal and written) is a must
