Job summary

Aureos Infrastructure Services Limited is seeking a highly motivated Site Engineer to oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and budget.

You will lead on-site activities, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project plans across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years' proven experience as Site Engineer in infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.
• Proficiency with surveying equipment and construction software (AutoCAD).
• Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and review project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and ensure compliance with plans.
• Manage and allocate on-site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including site diaries, photographs, and other relevant documentation.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures on site.
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budget control, and variations to contracts.
• Resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
• Ensure accurate setting out and surveying for various construction elements.
