Job summary

Siemens in Turkey invites a Project Engineer to join our Process & Cyber Security Team in Istanbul. You will develop future-focused process automation and cyber security projects, supporting customers and suppliers and clarifying technical details with partners.

You will install, commission, service and provide technical support for automation applications, working with global colleagues and sometimes outside normal hours. A drive to learn, teamwork, and strong English are essential.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of PCS7 and WinCC.
• Professional and project experience (approx. 3 years).
• Knowledge of network basics.
• Experienced with virtualization environments.
• University degree in Automation, Electrical and/or Electronics, Control Engineering or related area.
• Eager to learn new technologies and automation domain know-how.
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
• Initiative, learning ability, result-oriented and quality-driven.
• Communication skills and ability to work with globally distributed colleagues.
• Willingness to travel and must hold a valid driver’s license.

To support our Process & Cyber Security Team, we are looking for Project Engineers to develop future and customer-oriented Process Automation and Cyber Security projects.

What are my responsibilities?

• Supporting End customers and Suppliers as part of our Project Team.
• Preparing automation solutions based on the customer’s requirements and automation standards.
• Clarifying technical details with project partners.
• Responsible for servicing, maintaining, commissioning, installing, start-up, and providing technical support for the range of process automation applications.
• Able to provide a consistent approach whilst working under our own initiative and working closely with other team members, with minimal supervision and providing our customers with the highest levels of service possible.
• Ability to occasionally work outside normal business hours.
• Understand the needs of our customers and markets, speak the customer's language, develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.
• Continuously seek to add value to the services provided and achieve first-time fixes, leading to reduced breakdown times, lower costs for customers, and a reduction in invoice queries, thus gaining customer satisfaction and retention whilst helping to achieve market leadership.
• Have commercial awareness and an ability to recognize, promote and pursue new opportunities for sales, contracts, retrofits.
• Ensure that the quality of service provided for each customer meets or exceeds their expectations.
