Aureos Capital is seeking an experienced Site Manager for on-site leadership of overhead line transmission projects. You will ensure safe, on-schedule delivery while coordinating teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet quality and budget targets.

Responsibilities include planning, risk management, and on-site governance in line with design specifications. This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a proactive safety mindset across multiple sites.

Job Summary:

As a Site Manager for Trident OHL Transmission, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of overhead line (OHL) transmission projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will lead and manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and resources, acting as the primary point of contact for all site-related activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all day-to-day operations on site for OHL transmission projects, including planning, execution, and close-out phases.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) regulations and company policies. Develop and implement site-specific HSEQ plans.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of site personnel, ensuring effective allocation of tasks and resources.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and other third parties involved in the project.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports, ensuring timely and accurate communication to project stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety briefings.
• Manage site logistics, including plant, equipment, and material procurement and delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client representatives and other stakeholders on site.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with design specifications and engineering drawings.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.

Job Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role, specifically within overhead line (OHL) transmission or high voltage (HV) power infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of OHL construction methodologies, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Relevant professional qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale construction projects, including budget and schedule control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel and work on various sites as required.
• First Aid at Work certification (desirable).
• Valid relevant industry certifications (e.g., SSSTS, SMSTS or equivalent).
