We are looking for a Senior Workforce Planning & Organization Design Specialist to join our team.
To support the organization's strategic objectives by leading workforce planning, organizational design, job evaluation, and people analytics processes. The role ensures that the organization has the optimal workforce structure to achieve current and future business goals while maintaining organizational effectiveness, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Reports To: Compensation & Benefits Manager
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Workforce Planning
- Develop and maintain short, medium, and long-term workforce plans aligned with business strategies.
- Conduct workforce supply and demand analyses to identify talent gaps and workforce risks.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes through headcount planning and scenario analyses.
- Monitor workforce trends including turnover, retirements, succession risks, and capability shortages.
- Develop workforce productivity and efficiency metrics to support business decision-making.
- Partner with business leaders to assess future workforce requirements and strategic staffing needs.
Organizational Design & Effectiveness
- Lead organizational structure reviews and redesign initiatives.
- Evaluate spans of control, layers, reporting relationships, and organizational efficiency.
- Conduct organizational effectiveness analyses and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Support transformation and restructuring projects.
- Ensure organizational structures align with strategic priorities, governance principles, and operating models.
- Maintain organization charts and governance documentation.
Job Evaluation & Architecture
- Manage job evaluation processes using Korn Ferry Hay or other approved methodologies.
- Maintain job architecture, job families, career frameworks, and grading structures.
- Ensure consistency and equity across roles, grades, and organizational levels.
- Participate in role benchmarking and market comparison studies.
- Support job description development and review processes.
- Ensure accurate alignment between role accountabilities and evaluation outcomes.
Headcount Governance & Position Management
- Administer headcount control and approval processes.
- Monitor organizational changes including new positions, transfers, restructurings, and eliminations.
- Track approved versus actual headcount and workforce costs.
- Prepare recommendations regarding position creation, replacement, consolidation, or redesign.
- Ensure headcount requests comply with workforce planning principles and budget assumptions.
People Analytics & HR Reporting
- Develop workforce dashboards, scorecards, and management reports.
- Analyze workforce KPIs including: Headcount, Turnover, Vacancy rates, Productivity metrics, Overtime utilization, Workforce costs, Organizational efficiency indicators
- Provide data-driven recommendations to HR and business leaders.
- Prepare executive presentations and strategic workforce insights for senior leadership.
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Support the implementation and enhancement of HRIS systems and organizational management tools.
- Develop and standardize workforce planning methodologies and governance processes.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and reporting improvements.
- Lead and support cross-functional HR projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or related fields.
- Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development or a related field is an advantage.
- 5–7+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in Workforce Planning, Organization Design, People Analytics, Compensation & Benefits and/or HR Strategy.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial or multinational organizations is preferred.
- Experience in organizational transformation and restructuring projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of Korn Ferry Hay Job Evaluation Methodology is preferred.
