Job summary

TEMSA, a leading Turkish bus manufacturer, seeks an experienced senior software engineer to design and maintain enterprise applications using SAP Fiori UI5, OData, and SAP Gateway. You will also explore AI integrations with Azure OpenAI and related tools, ensuring robust data exchanges and performance in large-scale environments.

You must have a strong background in Java, .NET, RESTful APIs, AI platforms, and modern frontend frameworks like Angular or React.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer engineering, Software Engineering or Artificial Intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI,Azure AI Functions & Services,Bot Framework,OpenAI,MS 365 SDK.
• Advanced analytical thinking and problem solving; willing to live in Adana or Istanbul.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise apps with SAP Fiori UI5; analyze and maintain SAP Fiori apps.
• Integrate data via OData, SOAP/REST; optimize performance and error analysis.
• Implement AI capabilities; work with LLM APIs and AI platforms; ensure security.

Job Description:

• Experienced in developing enterprise applications with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 technologies, analyzing existing Fiori applications, and performing maintenance/development,
• Knowledgeable about SAP Fiori Launchpad structure, application configuration, catalog/role/authorization concepts, and deploying Fiori applications in enterprise environments,
• Experienced in data consumption, service integration, error analysis, and performance improvement through OData services (v2/v4) and SAP Gateway,
• Proficient in MVC structure, data binding, model usage, routing, fragment/component structures, and reusable UI development approaches on the SAPUI5 side;
• Knowledge of Fiori Elements,
• Knowledge of extension/adaptation approaches in SAP Fiori applications, extending existing standard applications according to needs, and managing integration points,
• Knowledge and experience in SAP RFC and/or BAPI integrations in integration projects with SAP systems,
• Experienced in SOAP and REST-based service integrations between SAP and enterprise systems,
• Possessing Java knowledge at a level that can read existing/legacy enterprise applications developed in Java, perform error analysis, understand integration points, and carry out maintenance improvements,
• Experienced in RESTful API design, development, and third-party system integrations between enterprise applications and SAP systems.
• Advanced experience in C#, .NET Core / .NET 8+, and ASP.NET Core Web API technologies,
• Experience in developing enterprise applications with Entity Framework Core or similar ORM tools,
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, data modeling, stored procedures, and query optimization,
• Advanced experience in at least one of Angular or React technologies and experience developing enterprise web applications,
• Ability to perform error analysis, log analysis, performance analysis, and root cause analysis in enterprise applications in a production environment,
• Knowledge and experience in authentication, authorization, JWT, OAuth 2.0, and role-based access control,
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and common design patterns and ability to apply these approaches in projects,
• Proficiency in Git-based version control systems, branching strategies, code review, and pull request processes,
• Knowledge and experience in CI/CD processes, automated build/deployment approaches, and managing different environments.

Reason for Preference / Nice to Have – Artificial Intelligence Capabilities

• Knowledge or experience in developing enterprise applications with Large Language Model (LLM) APIs and integrating AI capabilities into existing applications,
• Experience working with at least one AI platform such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or similar,
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, and Structured Output approaches,
• Knowledge of RAG, embedding, vector search, and document-based question-and-answer systems,
• Familiarity with AI Agent, function calling, and tool calling approaches,
• Awareness of the validation, security, authorization, observability, and cost management of LLM outputs,
• Ability to effectively use AI-powered software development tools such as Claude Code/CLI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar,
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated code in terms of architecture, security, performance, maintainability, and code quality.
